Quartz Countertops

What are Quartz Countertops?

Quartz Countertops are an engineered stone comprised of 93% crushed natural quartz, which is an extremely hard mineral, bound together with 7% poly-resin.

Why Choose a Quartz Countertop?

Quartz is one of the top choices for countertops and through its engineering process, it can mimic the look of natural stone. It’s a non-porous, durable countertop that’s stain, water and scratch resistant. This is such a durable countertop cutting directly on it could dull your knife, but it is susceptible to heat damage so don’t place hot pans directly on it.

Engineering a quartz slab allows endless color, pattern and texture options. The result is a slab that’s perfect for you, whether you’re aiming for a natural appearance or wanting a contemporary flair.

Quartz Countertop Care

Quartz countertops are low maintenance and don’t need to be sealed or polished. Simply wash the countertops like you do your hands with mild soap and warm water. If you come across a persistent stain that soap and water can’t handle, use a glass cleaner and a nonabrasive sponge.

This place is the one to go for counter tops. I was lucky to have gone to the big “stores” and gotten bids and then happened to chance upon Stone Mark. Went there and got the shock of my life when the price quoted was half PLUS a barnhouse sink was in the deal. Work is done efficiently and promptly by their personnel, not to mention friendly as they do appreciate your business. I love my quartz counter tops.

StoneMark did a great job fabricating and installing our new quartz countertop. Everything went as stated from day one. Thank you not not only to StoneMark, but also to Lowe’s for using them to install their products.
